Happy Halloween
from Lauren Archer and Positive Central

Who do you really want to be?

"We are what we pretend to be,
so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."
- Kurt Vonnegut

Halloween represents the point on the wheel of the year that marks the crescendo of the autumn season. Nights grow longer, and we watch in awe as Nature replays the spectacular drama in the continuing cycle of transformation, death, and rebirth. The lingering darkness provides us with more opportunities for reflection and contemplation - a reminder to look within at our own dramas, bearing witness to how we experience personal transformation through the cycles of life.

This Halloween season, before you don your costume, I invite you step back from the mundane issues of life long enough to ask yourself these deeper questions:
  • Who do you really want to be, this year, and beyond?
  • Can you hear the voice of your authentic self, or is there too much noise?
  • As you look at your life from a broader perspective, what's truly important to you?
  • What do you need to let go of, in order to become who you most want to be?
  • What do you still really want to do, before it's too late?
Bearing witness to the cycles of nature provides us the opportunity to honor and appreciate the cycles in our own lives. Remember that every season is only about 12 weeks long. We are now half-way through autumn, with only six weeks remaining. Half of six weeks is 21 days, the amount of time it takes to develop a new habit. What habit can you begin today that will help you become who you want to be six weeks from now - by the winter solstice?

The Value of Decisive Transformation
It has been my privilege to witness the profound transformations that many of my clients experience as they take decisive action toward releasing their limitations, recognizing their values, and becoming who they really want to be. I've been honored to work with some of the brightest, most successful people, and I want to recognize their dedication. These people know how valuable it is to actively seek change and growth. Like the cycles of nature, this is an ongoing process that requires perspective and patience.

As you step into the dark days and weeks to come, please remember that I am honored to be your guide, witness and resource for those big questions in life. I am here to support your growth with positive personal reprogramming that can help you effectively reprogram unproductive or negative patterns so you can tap into your inner resources and live your life with more integrity, balance and passion.

So, who do you really want to be this Halloween and beyond? Call me at 425-881-7082 to schedule your one-on-one consulting sessions and take the first step towards letting go of who you think you are in order to become who you really want to be.

With appreciation,
